Trump Announces Social Media Platform Launch: Here’s How to Get on the Waitlist

Former President Donald Trump was not happy about the results of the 2020 presidential election, that’s not a shock to anyone. The former president believes that the election was robbed and that the American people were looking for him to lead the country for another four years.

Whether or not that is true, and in a related, and also unrelated issue, Americans are also struggling with dealing with their growing dependence on technology for media and communication, and a mistrust of those who lead the companies that connect and inform us.

No one was more targeted by technology companies than the former president. Since leading the country is no longer on Trump’s “to-do” list, he chose to start a media company that Americans can trust. The long-awaited social media platform that he claims will offer truth to users, instead of a filtered and liberal narrative, is becoming a reality.

The social media platform came alive on Wednesday with the announcement that the Trump Media & Technology Group and Digital World Acquisition Corp have entered a merger agreement. It will result in the Trump Media & Technology Group becoming publicly listed and will have regulatory and stockholder approval. This is according to a report released by former Trump Attorney Jenna Ellis.

Ellis published a photo of the statement, showing that the initial valuation of the company is believed to be a whopping $875 million, with the “potential additional earnout of $825 million in additional shares. This is for a cumulative valuation of up to $1.7 Billion, depending on the performance of the stock price.” In other words, once again, serving the American people with a project that they clearly want and have communicated that they would constantly participate in, could serve to be a massive monetary gain for the person offering it.

Will the progressive left attack the former president and his partners, saying that he’s only doing this for the money? Oh, almost certainly. Are they correct? Who knows, maybe. And all moral obligation aside, is that a bad reason to create and market a product that people want? No, not at all. And that’s not taking into account the moral obligation that we have to prove the truth, treat other people the way we wish to be treated and to keep lies away from the innocent.

Trump Media’s social media platform will be called “TRUTH Social” which is currently available for preorder on the Apple App store. They will begin their Beta Launch for limited individuals in November of 2021. Early in 2022, they expect to launch their nationwide rollout, and those interested in joining the media platform should visit to sign up to be on the invite list.

“I created TRUTH Social and TMGT to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. This is unacceptable,” Trump said in his press release about the media company.

“I am excited to send out my first Truth on Truth Social very soon. TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all. I’m excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech. Everyone asks me why doesn’t someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!”

Time will tell if the other media companies attempt to find a way to fight back against what will no doubt be a blockbuster rollout of the Trump social media. But as for now, Americans have at least a glimmer of hope that they will soon be able to share their thoughts and feelings and receive accurate information in a format that is both social and safe.
