Exactly What is Biden Trying to Say About the Legitimacy of the 2022 Midterms?

Joe Biden opens his mouth, and we never truly know what is going to come out. He may threaten a reporter, he may claim yet another thing is Trump’s fault, or he may mumble incoherently. He may not be a great president but he’s certainly entertaining. He keeps us on our toes and guessing as to what he’ll talk about next.

The 2022 midterm elections are right around the corner. And we’ve already seen how the red wave is nearly inevitable. The American people are tired of the far-left progressive politics with being told to mask up, get vaccinated, and shut up and let the socialist agendas infiltrate the schools.

Even hardcore Democrats are flipping over to the GOP’s way of thinking because they want democracy, not socialism.

Yet, Biden can’t handle such a thing. He doesn’t want to see anyone flipping sides for obvious reasons. If the 2022 midterms go the way that we think they will, Biden will become a lame-duck president. He’ll be a Democrat in a Republican-held House and Senate. It means that he’ll have to kiss all of his progressive legislative ideas goodbye. And if he thinks that he can just circumvent everything with executive orders, Kevin McCarthy and others will impeach his lily-white tush before he has a chance to mumble out a defense.

During a press conference, all Biden could talk about was how the voting reforms had to be passed. And, when he was asked about reforms that Republicans could pass and how it could affect the midterms, his response was “Oh, yeah, I think it easily could be, be illegitimate.”

Yikes. That’s not something we really want to hear POTUS talking about. After all, do we really need another year where one party or the other is questioning the integrity of the votes?

Well, here comes Jen Psaki to clarify what Biden said. The press secretary said that he “was not casting doubt on the legitimacy of the 2022 election. He was making the opposite point: In 2020, a record number of voters turned out in the face of a pandemic, and election officials made sure they could vote and have those votes counted.”

Yeah, that’s not really what Biden said. He used the word “illegitimate.” There’s no way to dress those words up and make them sound good.

Additionally, Psaki just shot her entire party’s agenda in the foot because there’s clearly no need for voter reform and there’s no issue with making sure that people are getting their votes in because she said it herself – there was a record number of voters turning out in 2020.

Now, the only thing that we’re asking for is to make sure that all of the voters who come out are legitimately allowed to vote. And the way to do that is by asking for an ID. Any ID…just something that tells us who you are so that we can match your name to the voter registration roster. It’s not crazy and it’s not racist, it’s what keeps the elections legitimate.

We might be able to accept Psaki’s explanation of what Biden said, but he kept talking – and each time he opened his mouth, it got worse. “It’s the increase and the prospect of being illegitimate is in direct proportion to us not being able to get these reforms passed.”

Oh, got it. So, unless we pass these reforms that allow anyone and everyone to vote (including those who are mentally incapacitated, illegal, and possibly even dead), it’s an illegitimate midterm election. Gee, how convenient…
