Throughout Democrat Joe Biden’s presidency, there have been no small number of critics saying that he is unfit for office. And it would seem that the cacophony of disasters we’ve endured since he took over is proof of just that. Naturally, we would expect most from his party, and especially those close to him, to not agree with that.
But what is their excuse, then? Why have things gone so wrong? And why all of the sudden, during a time when the supposedly great Biden family is in charge?
Well, according to First Lady Jill Biden, oh, sorry, let me correct that. It’s DR. Jill Biden…
Anyway, Jill gave a speech this past week in what we can only guess was supposed to be a defense of her husband and his decisions while in the White House.
Given that the speech was to a group of about two dozen donors for the Democratic National Committee in the very blue state of Massachusetts, one would imagine she didn’t have to defend all that much. I mean, these are supposed to be people on the same side of the aisle and with the same plan, right?
Then again, these are also the people who will need to be convinced that her husband is the correct choice for the Oval Office going forward and into 2024’s presidential election.
And so, one would imagine that a speech to these people would need to include a list of all the things Biden has accomplished or conquered thus far in his role as President…
The only thing is that Biden hasn’t really done anything.
Nonetheless, Dr. Jill still gave a list of things that happened during her husband’s time in the White House. She just failed to prove that her husband had significantly impacted those things.
In fact, she basically proved that he had done nothing.
She said, “[The President] had so many hopes and plans for things he wanted to do, but every time you turned around, he had to address the problems of the moment. He’s just had so many things thrown his way.”
Oh, poor Joe Biden. Who would have guessed that the President of the United States would have to deal with problems that arise and not be able to solely focus on his own plans?
But I digress.
Jill Biden went on, going through a list of things we, or at least her and Joe, apparently didn’t see coming and therefore couldn’t prepare for.
“Who would have ever thought about what happened (with) Roe v Wade? Well, maybe we saw it coming, but still, we didn’t believe it. The gun violence in this country is absolutely appalling. We didn’t see the war in Ukraine coming.”
Again, her words have a problem, namely, that her husband didn’t or couldn’t see these events on the horizon.
As POTUS and a man who has been in the inner circle of Democratic politics for literally decades, Biden should be qualified more than most to gauge the atmosphere of where things are headed. Additionally, he has no small number of intelligence resources right at his fingertips, not that he would even need much of those.
Take the overturning of Roe, for instance.
Anyone with even the slightest interest in, say, life and liberty has known that, should they be able to, the conservatives in our nation would reverse the ruling if they got a chance. Additionally, with the confirmation of now-Justice Amy Coney Barrett, we knew it would only be a matter of time before an abortion-related case presented itself to the mostly conservative-led Court.
Yet, the Bidens “didn’t believe it.”
As for the gun violence… umm, where has she and Joe been the last few decades? Or even the last couple of years. Does she not remember the summer of 2020?
And when it comes to the war in Ukraine, Putin has been making threats against his smaller neighbor for years. That, combined with all the intelligence sources Biden is privy to, should have made an incursion of some sort the likeliest of outcomes. Plus, wasn’t it his son who used to work for a Ukrainian energy company during the same time Putin made advances back in 2014?
But none of this is his fault, of course. According to Jill, he couldn’t see it coming, which is why he hasn’t been able to do anything he wanted to. All this proves is exactly what we thought. He’s unfit for office.
