Karine Jean-Pierre made headlines when she was chosen to be President Biden’s White House Press Secretary as the first black and first LGTBQ member to hold the position. These features are points of history she will never forget, and nobody can take away from her. It might make her “special” to Biden, but to many, they are points that people don’t consider.
Jean-Pierre seems to take these points as reasons to refuse any sort of help or guidance from others. On September 6th, she doubled down on her refusal of anyone trying to guide her, especially anyone who isn’t leaning to the left.
Following an invitation from Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) to come to visit the border in response to her being questioned about immigration, she dropped an absolute gem of a decline. “One thing I — I will say is I certainly don’t need lectures or invitations from Republicans about the border or border policies. And, you know — and I certainly won’t take advice on border from — from anyone who voted against securing record level of funding for the Department of Homeland Security.”
This refusal to accept any information and invitations from a Republican is the keystone policy of the Biden campaign. One that they have spent hours upon hours trying to get away from the people seeing. So, when she finally said it for all to hear, this confirms the hypocrisy of the White House, and the left as a whole because it’s finally there.
The left won’t listen to anyone who doesn’t think as they do.
For years, we have been the ones to extend the olive branch. The right has been the side unifying the American people. We have been the ones trying to heal the wounds. Not dig in and make them even deeper and bleed harder. Despite the best efforts of the left to keep us from unifying the people, we have been doing everything we can to fight that division, and now Jean-Pierre finally has let the world know that.
While this is the first time she has directly said it, back on August 29th, she hinted at it. Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy brought the topic of immigration up, and she attempted to claim that nobody just walks right over. This is what set the stage for Sen. Cruz to first invite her to come to tour the border – to see the reality of the situation on the ground.
Her response to this initial offer wasn’t as inflammatory as her most recent one. “I’ve been to the border. I went in 2018. I stood outside facilities where the Trump Administration was separating families, tearing babies out of their mother’s arms. Some of those kids still haven’t been reunited with their families.” While she was attempting to invoke President Trump’s efforts to halt illegal immigration, she failed to remember that these procedures were leftovers from President Obama.
Despite claiming they want to see the American people prosperous and educated, the left has been pushing the opposite message in their actions. They don’t want people to become educated, prosperous, or work together. They know that this would be the end of the Democratic party. If people had nothing they needed from the government, they wouldn’t be voting for the party that provides handouts like they were puppy stickers.
Jean-Pierre has finally pulled back the curtain. She’s not just the first black, White House Press Secretary or the first member of the LGTBQ community to hold the post. She’s now the first person to show the American people exactly who is running the White House; a group of people who refuse to listen to anything from those who don’t have the same beliefs as they do. Feels good to finally admit it, eh?
