Hillary Clinton Jumps on the Band Wagon Blaming Republicans for the Pelosi Attack, Elon Musk has Interesting Perspective

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the violent hammer attack on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi. Several Democrats have accused Republicans of inciting violence. Some have even made strong accusations even though the investigation has just begun and there is no concrete proof that the suspect, David DePape, was motivated by politics in his violence against Pelosi.

It is no surprise that Hillary Clinton has not stayed above the fray in this case. She blamed Republicans for political violence by sending this post on Twitter, “The Republican Party and its mouthpieces now regularly spread hate and deranged conspiracy theories. It is shocking, but not surprising, that violence is the result. As citizens, we must hold them accountable for their words and the actions that follow.”

The former first lady’s tweet also linked to a Los Angeles Times article that had this headline, “Accused Pelosi attacker David DePape spread QAnon, other far-right, bigoted conspiracies.”

The article outlines the following information about DePape and a personal blog that he wrote. These were some of the subjects in his writing: “Manipulation of History,” “Holohoax,” “It’s OK to be White,” and he mentioned “4chan,” which is a message board for the far right.

There were videos posted about conspiracies surrounding COVID-19 vaccines and the war in Ukraine as a ply for Jewish people to buy land. And there were posts about QAnon along with an unfounded theory that former President Trump was at war with a cabal of Satan-worshipping elites involved in child sex trafficking.

Elon Musk responded to Clinton’s tweet and actually questioned the narrative surrounding this story. The new CEO of Twitter responded to Clinton saying, “There is a tiny possibility there might be more to this story than meets the eye.” He then linked his tweet to an article from the Santa Monica Observer titled: “The Awful Truth: Paul Pelosi Was Drunk Again, And In a Dispute With a Male Prostitute Early Friday Morning.”

The Santa Monica Observer reported that Paul Pelosi was with a male prostitute on the night of his attack. But it did not offer any real evidence and the writer included that his accusation was “my humble opinion.” Add to that the Observer has a factual reporting rating of “low” by Media Bias/Fact Check (MBFC), a self-proclaimed independent website that promotes awareness of media bias and misinformation. They rate the bias, factual accuracy, and credibility of media services that range in size.

The MBFC has given the label of “questionable source” to the Santa Monica Observer, and they have defined that label as having “extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency and/or is fake news.”

But it goes without saying that there are significant questions that still have to be answered regarding the home invasion involving David DePape. Some of what we know about this perpetrator is that he is a nudist, and a hemp jewelry maker from Berkeley, California. It was previously reported in “The Blaze” that he allegedly infiltrated the home of another person in line for the presidency using a hammer.

DePape apparently allowed Paul Pelosi to use the bathroom while he was in the midst of the home invasion, and Pelosi had his phone charging in the bathroom so he was able to call 911.

According to some reports, the 911 operator was able to hear Pelosi asking DePape, “What’s going on? Why are you here? What are you doing to me?”

The audio of an alleged police dispatcher seems to indicate the dispatcher told police officers that a “somewhat confused” Pelosi told him that a “friend” with the name “David” was in his home.

You can hear the dispatcher saying, “There is a male in the home, and that he is going to wait for his wife. However, he stated that he doesn’t know who the male is but that his name is ‘David ‘and that he is a friend.” The dispatcher also said that the reporter was sounding confused. When the police arrived at Pelosi’s home, they knocked on the front door and were let inside by an unnamed person. The report said that the police found DePape and Pelosi struggling for a hammer and when they ordered them to drop the weapon, that is when DePape attacked Pelosi with the hammer.

It seems way too early for anyone to be using this story to blame a political party.
