And the Emmy goes to…the Democrats. They should win some kind of award for the way that they continue to lie with straight faces over and over again. The left is starring in the greatest “unreality” show that has ever been produced.
The latest episode of hypocrisy comes as Democrats continue to talk about the GOP stealing elections.
Last week, Hillary Clinton got pulled out of her irrelevance because she caustically declared that there was another vast right-wing conspiracy underfoot that was already planning to steal the 2024 presidential election.
“Right-wing extremists already have a plan to literally steal the next presidential election,” Hillary declared.
Oh really, and let’s also remember your claim that Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 election so the GOP could steal the election from you, right?
But wasn’t it reported in October of 2021 that it was Hillary who did the colluding in the 2016 election by hiring a former British spy named Christopher Steele to write a fake dossier full of spacious allegations against her opponent? And didn’t she do this with the help of the Russian government?
The Democrats are still talking about the GOP stealing elections when they are continuing to demand that we allow non-citizens have the right to vote. Left-wing activists in Washington, D.C. City Council advanced a bill that virtually lets anyone vote in local elections regardless of citizenship or immigration status. All that is necessary is that they have lived in the city for just 30 days. This bill will allow an estimated 50,000 non-citizen residents to cast ballots in the local elections.
Let. That. Sink. In.
Even the Washington Post editorial board called that move “radical.” The news outlet has consistently opposed efforts over the last ten years to rewrite D.C’s election code so that green-card holders could vote. But what is now before the council is more radical than ever before. The progressives behind this new bill hope to move the city so far to the left so that they can win on issues like rent control and spending for more social programs.
The Washington Post revealed that there was nothing in the bill that would keep workers at embassies of governments hostile to America from casting ballots. It would allow foreign students who are studying abroad in Washington for one semester to vote in an election.
The local left in D.C. apparently hasn’t realized that the city is a federal district, so it answers directly to Congress. And under the Constitution and the D.C. Home Rule Act, Congress can block bills passed and cleared by D.C. City Council and mayor.
Conservative leaders have already denounced the crazy bill and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) has already promised a resolution to overturn the measure.
Can you imagine a move to allow illegal immigrants to vote? Every person in America should be incensed about this and every Democrat should be forced to go on record regarding their support.
There is a trend people should be watching in the Democratic Party. When things don’t go their way, there is usually an attempt to cheat (think about Hillary’s scandals). When cheating doesn’t work, they either just violate the rules or attempt to change them. An example of this is the existence of the Electoral College and the number of associate justices on the U.S. Supreme Court.
Democrats want to make it easier to vote and also easier to cheat, and allowing non-citizens helps them to do both. It’s no wonder there is chaos at the southern border and illegals are swarming into the country.
And the Republicans are trying to steal the election? This is the height of hypocrisy but also some amazing acting.
