The Chicago Public Schools (CPS) were awful even before Joe Biden and Border Czar Kamala Harris threw the southern border open. Now that schools in predominantly black neighborhoods have been flooded with 17,000 illegal alien kids, things are even worse. Things are so bad that the school district has ordered teachers to give the illegals passing grades, even if they don’t speak a word of English and can’t answer a single question on a test.
Chicago city leaders have been primarily dumping illegal aliens in the South and West Side neighborhoods, which are predominantly black. Most of the illegals are from Latin American countries. The schools in the black neighborhoods don’t offer any English as a Second Language (ESL) support, so teachers find it impossible to communicate with them.
Teachers have told WGN in Chicago that they’ve been instructed by administrators to give every illegal alien a grade of 70% in every subject and pass them on to the next level. Even if the illegal aliens show severe academic deficiencies, or speak no English at all, they’re being given passing grades in every subject.
According to 2023 state assessments by the Illinois State Board of Education, only 26% of Chicago 8th graders can read at grade level. Only 17% can do math at grade level. Those assessments were done before the invasion of illegal aliens really started to ramp up.
Kids in Chicago can’t get a proper education to begin with, because the public school district has been notoriously corrupt for years. Now the situation is even worse, as classrooms are being clogged with foreign invaders who can’t speak a word of English.
