So Are We Just Going to Ignore Doug Emhoff Beating the Crap Out of Those Ladies?

Is the American media really going to ignore the explosive allegations that Doug Emhoff—Kamala Harris’s husband—is a violent misogynist who may have beaten up two of his former mistresses? The story seems like a big deal. We were under the impression that men weren’t supposed to beat the crap out of women, but maybe that standard changed after the 2024 Olympics in Paris last summer.

In case you missed the story, the Daily Mail in London has talked to a bunch of witnesses who confirmed these allegations. Doug Emhoff snuck around on his first wife and impregnated his children’s nanny. Friends of the nanny told the British newspaper that some sort of violent altercation between Emhoff and the nanny led to a miscarriage. He paid her $80,000 in hush money and had her sign an NDA.

A few years later, Emhoff was dating a high-profile attorney from New York and took her to a star-studded Cannes Film Festival event in France. As they were waiting for a cab after the event, Doug thought his new mistress was flirting with a valet. Multiple witnesses saw him punch her in the face with a balled fist.

It wasn’t a “slap” as some have said. He flat-out decked her so hard that she spun around and collapsed to the ground. This happened in 2012 in front of a bunch of witnesses. Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Harvey Weinstein were all there.

Only one “reporter” has asked Emhoff about the allegations and that was Joe Scarborough of MSNBC. Emhoff didn’t even deny the allegations of violence against his former mistresses. He just called it a “distraction.”

Hey, wait a second… didn’t a lady die in mysterious circumstances late one night in Joe Scarborough’s congressional office in the 1990s? And didn’t Scarborough resign from the House of Representatives the next day to “spend more time with family?”

They’re going to sweep this whole thing under the rug, aren’t they?
