Pest control company Orkin has released its annual list titled “Rattiest City in America.” It actually lists the top 50 rattiest cities in the country. However, one city seems content to maintain its championship status at #1 on the list. Chicago has now been the rattiest city in the country for the past ten years in a row.

See if you can pick out a pattern among the top ten rattiest cities in the country, ranked in order:

  • Chicago
  • Los Angeles
  • New York
  • San Francisco
  • Washington, DC
  • Denver
  • Philadelphia
  • Detroit
  • Baltimore
  • Cleveland

All the cities in America that are the most infested with rats have been run by radical progressive Democrats for decades. That’s the common threat among them, although Orkin is too polite in its report to make that connection.

Orkin does note that Chicago’s environment and run-down infrastructure have contributed to its ten-year dominance at the top of the list. Chicago has many alleys that act as “hidden havens” for them to hide out while feasting on trash. Rats also like to burrow under subway tracks and around buried pipes and if left unchecked, they can reproduce very quickly.

The rats are also a huge problem for homeowners and commercial businesses in the fall when temperatures start to drop. They like to find indoor hiding spots. Their teeth are hard enough to chew through the side of a metal trash can and they frequently chew through electrical wires which can lead to fires.

The biggest problem leading to the rat infestations seems to be liberal-progressive leadership, though. When voters elect people to office who are worried about fake social justice problems and “climate change,” this is what they get.
