A committee at the United Nations has passed two new resolutions that will try to usher in a global system of digital identities for everyday people. The goal of the digital ID system is to shut people up. The UN says that the resolutions are designed to “combat hate speech” but we all know that means after four years of the censorship industrial complex running roughshod over Americans and silencing them online.
One of the resolutions directs the UN’s Department of Global Communications to create regulations that will address “new and traditional media to address hate speech narratives.” As if that wasn’t Orwellian enough, the other resolution is called “Our Common Agenda.”
That resolution calls for the creation of a global digital ID that must be linked to your bank account. Does everyone see how this will work? Under the UN’s Common Agenda, you will have to enter your global digital ID to verify your identity for social media accounts. If you speak your mind and criticize your government in any way, you’re suddenly broke and can’t access your funds.
All the plans being adopted by the UN, from the Common Agenda to the Sustainable Development Goals to the Global Digital Compact are all calling for the same things: Digital identities (which means the end of online privacy), censorship, and mass surveillance of the people for their own good.
The sad thing is that it’s not the world’s banana republics or tinhorn dictatorships calling for these things. It’s the major democracies of the world. Every country in the EU has signed the Common Agenda pact, along with Israel, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and El Salvador.
Here’s a question for everyone to ponder. Why do we still allow the UN headquarters to reside in America when everything the organization is pushing for violates our Bill of Rights?
