Biden Finally Addresses Pro-Palestine Protests Only To Say “No” to the National Guard

For nearly two weeks, President Biden has ignored the pro-Palestine protests going on on various college campuses across the US. From Ivy League colleges to UCLA, even smaller schools like the University of Buffalo have had substantial protests on their campuses. Many campuses have seen students set up encampments, block pathways to Israeli and Jewish students as well as their supporters, continuously trespass, and even replace the American flag with Palestine’s. Essentially, they have attempted to stage a Palestinian takeover on their campuses.

Yet Biden has been stone silent.

Now, with unexpected remarks, he finally spoke to the situation but truthfully said nothing. “Violent protest is not protected. Peaceful protest is. It’s against the law when violence occurs. Destroying property is not peaceful protest. It’s against the law. Vandalism. Trespassing. Breaking windows, Shutting down campuses. Forcing the cancellation of classes and graduations. None of this is a peaceful protest. Threatening people. Intimidating people. Instilling fear in people. It’s not peaceful protest. It’s against the law.”

Asked about supporting the idea of States choosing to send in the National Guard (as many have called for), Biden kept his response clear. “No,” was all he said before slithering out of the room.

His response shocked many, as they believe the National Guard might be the only good response we have left. Joined by people who are alumni, some faculty and staff, and members of the public have been joining and supporting them. With the level of support many have been receiving, the National Guard could be the equalizer that not only keeps the peace but also allows local law enforcement to remain even-keeled. Given the previous response to heavy police at liberal-based protests, the National Guard might just be the needed equalizer.

These liberal minds have been easily manipulated, twisted, and taken in the wrong direction. With a desire to belong to something more than themselves and too chickenshit to join the military, they have banded together. Believing they can make a difference, having temper tantrums, they assemble and only serve to bother the rest of us. Let’s give them that same level of response.
