Anyone in business knows that good economies hold everyone. And that’s precisely the reason Donald Trump Jr. gave to a New York City court as to why his father, former President Donald Trump, is just the kind of guy the city should be glad to have.
As you likely know, Trump, his family, and his business are currently on trial in the Big Apple for supposedly inflating the value of his assets to gain major benefits when borrowing money for them. Of course, there are several problems with the case.
One is that all those loans Trump acquired are all paid off now, meaning no one was outed any money or assets, and there are no victims. Second, is that even the banks agree with the estimated value of those assets at the time.
Nevertheless, New York Attorney General Letitia James is determined to make Trump fall. To do so, she brought in Trump Jr.
But what he had to say was exactly the kind of thing socialists like her don’t want to hear: that Trump has only done better for our nation than most. Specifically, he asked the court to remember all the ways Trump has already “saved” NYC in the past.
A 2016 report by Steve Cuozzo of the New York Post explains that the Trump family has always been a boon to NYC and the economy, specifically in the 1980s and 1990s.

He took once decaying neighborhoods like the Upper West Side, Upper East Side, the financial district, and Columbus Circle and quite literally rebuilt them. He added hotels, retail shops, residential towers, office complexes, etc. He also restored places like 40 Wall Street, Wollman Rink in Central Park, and the Commodore Hotel – all landmarks that revitalized the surrounding neighborhoods.
Trump Tower and Trump Plaza were built, immediately bringing wealthy residents, high-end amenities, and luxury to once-underdeveloped areas of town.
As a result, the city boomed.
And yet, now, some of those very same assets are being counted as fraudulent all because one woman has a problem with their creator…
